In a country like India, majority of political campaigning and voters decisions are based on coarse grained macro parameters. Most of political parties launch their electoral campaign to create and ride a wave. Majority of voters cast their vote based on ‘I am tired of current regime’ or things such as ‘onion price’ than any specific visibility into performance (and/or promise) data points of electoral candidate.

Maybe there is time and opportunity to build and political and electoral platform (technology platform) in India, which facilitates a lot more granular and focused decision making ability to Indian voters. Such a platform can also offer a framework to electoral candidates for clearer/focused and data/plan driven campaign.
